This park is a unique geographic province in that it contains 5 different major landscapes, and is home to an astounding diversity of plants, animals, and recreational pursuits. The campground at Round Creek is the only camp area that stays open year round. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed on the trails. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. Dogs are allowed in the camping cabins. There are no electric or water hookups at the campground.

Old Salem is a living history town with restored buildings and costumed interpreters. Dogs are not allowed in the buildings but you can still get a good flavor of the place and most of the buildings are small so you can take a quick look inside if someone can watch the dog.

Top 200 Places: Valley Forge is a Great Park to Visit with a Pet

Dedicated to the education and preservation of the Revolutionary War generation and of the common citizens who overcame great hardships and adversity in the name of freedom, this park offers a variety of ongoing informative programs and special events. Dogs are allowed throughout the park and on the trails; they are not allowed in any of the buildings. This is a large park so you will probably want to take an auto tour and walk to see the attractions from the nearest parking areas. Dogs must be well behaved, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
