K9s In Flight is a Frisbee dog show that has been amazing audiences around the world for the past 15 years. They have appeared on Animal Planet, performed during half time at NFL and NBA games.

All of the incredible dogs are rescued or adopted. The show promotes pet adoption. K9s in Flight is dedicated to the awareness of the pet overpopulation problem. Both days following the 1:00PM show, veterinarians from the Florida Veterinary Referral Center will present a seminar for pet owners about Common Household Hazards for Dogs & Cats.

While the dogs may be the stars of the show, they certainly are not the only reason to attend. Expo Marketing has been producing Florida Home Shows for more than 20 years. The brand new Home Town Expo builds on the home show concept adding something for every member of the family. The new owner of Expo Marketing, Nick McMullen wanted to bring new energy to the shows and better connect them to the entire Florida lifestyle.

McMullen explains, “We all love Florida, but so much of what makes living here great is outside the walls of our homes. We still want our shows to present the very latest in home technology and design, but when you visit this year you are going to find so much more.”

Joining the Home & Garden Show at Harborside is a Sports & Recreation Show and a Local Lifestyles event. The very latest in sports, fitness and all kinds of fun will be in the Sports & Recreation show. Talk with local experts about how to improve at your favorite sport, or how to develop a great personal fitness plan. In the Local Lifestyles show you will find a mix of anything that makes you smile. Restaurants, Fashion, Entertainment, Travel and Pet Care will all be part of Local Lifestyles.

The Home Town Expo runs from 10:00AM to 4:00PM both Saturday and Sunday. The Harborside Event Center is located in downtown Fort Myers at the corner of Bay and Monroe Streets. Parking at the City of Palms Garage, adjacent to the Event Center is free for this event.
