Dog friendly Mayan Riveria Mexico

Wednesday, March 27th, 2013

Picture yourself and your dog relaxing at a seaside refuge in a small village in Mexico. You and your pet arrive at the Viceroy Rivera Maya (www.viceroyrivieramaya.com), a tony, eco-friendly hideaway in the jungle just outside Playa del Carmen, about 35 minutes from Cancun International Airport.

The 41-villa luxury resort’s new PetVacay Program combines Shaman Blessings for both you and your four-legged traveling companion, personal palapas made especially for pets (to shelter them from the sun) and delicious dining, including a-la-carte menu options for canines. The pet charge is $50 a night plus the cost of meals.
