Red Roof’s 40th Anniversary Mobile Truck Tour is rolling into Toronto June 8-9, just in time to greet 300,000 plus pet-lovers during Woofstock 2013. The pet-friendly hotel chain has hit the road this summer in honor of its 40th anniversary, rolling out its remodeled NextGen® room type to customers across the U.S. and Canada via the custom made NextGen® semi-truck.
The truck features a complete hotel room that is a perfect replica of a NextGen room: modern furniture, wood-like floors, additional electrical outlets and technological amenities, flat screen TVs, ergonomic chairs and much more. With NextGen, modern convenience meets great price; it’s exactly what customers are looking for. Woofstock visitors will be able to step in and stroll around the room with their furry friends in tow.
“Red Roof has been welcoming families for 40 years and pets are an important part of our guest’s family,” says Marina MacDonald, SVP Sales and Marketing. Our guests will find pet-friendly rooms at every one of our 350 locations nationwide. Woofstock is a perfect opportunity for Red Roof to reach out to pet lovers and let them know that Red Roof welcomes them and that we share their love of pets.”
Launched in 2003, Woofstock hosts dog lovers and their four-footed friends every summer and is the largest outdoor festival for dogs in North America. The festival runs June 8th and 9th, 2013 and is open from 10am-6pm at St. Lawrence Neighborhood Market. Attendees who tour the truck during Woofstock will receive a complimentary plush pet and Red Roof custom giveaways.
