Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, announces today the launch of Paws in Paradise

Boca Raton, Fla. – February 8, 2018 – Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, announces today the launch of Paws in Paradise, allowing guests to experience first-class luxury service with their pup in tow. The program ensures all four-legged guests are treated to True Waldorf Service at the South Florida resort, inclusive of welcome amenities, signature spa treatments, dining options and an in-house veterinarian.

“Since adopting Hays, the resort’s ‘Canine Director’ and puppy-in-training as part of the Assistance Dogs of Hawaii Program, we were inspired to a launch a pet-friendly program that speaks to the luxury of the resort,” said John Tolbert, President and Managing Director of Boca Raton Resort & Club. “Hays also served as an inspiration for the launch of the resort’s fundraising efforts for service dogs, and we could not be more excited to find additional ways to give back to our community and to all of our canine guests.”

At check-in, pets will be greeted by Hays in addition to receiving a welcome letter from our puppy-in-training, water and food bowls, a luxury dog bed, and access to the dog park at the Bungalows. For events and conferences, the Resort and Club offers the Puppies & Ice Cream Breakout Session, where attendees can interact with service animals.

As an added service, the resort provides dog sitting and walking, pooch “Nanny Cams” available to rent and resort-branded wardrobe accessories. In partnership with Chateau Poochie, a local, full-service luxury canine hotel, Boca Raton Resort & Club will also provide guests’ pets with pampered grooming and indulging spa treatments, doggy daycare social lounge play, and five-star overnight boarding. The Chateau Poochie limo offers both pickup and drop off for its canine guests.

Tim Mullally, Top Canine Trainer and President of A Dog’s Best Friend, South Florida’s premier positive obedience school, has awarded the Resort and Club a Five Paws Certification for its facilities and new pet program and services. Mullally has created a series of walking routes on-property for dogs and their owners, ranging from garden and waterfront paths to exercise routes for those that desire a longer walk. Additionally, Mullally will offer guests on-site training and a comprehensive resource list to enhance the dog and owner’s stay.

To ensure the safety and health of all pups on-property, Boca Raton Resort & Club offers its members and guests access to the property’s exclusive veterinary services. The resort’s Veterinarian Concierge, Dr. Tanis Whyte, offers services and care for pet medical needs by appointment.

The $150 one-time, non-refundable fee includes dog-friendly room service, daily tuck-in service, dining options at Shaka and 501 East Terrace as well as access to the marina, resort shuttle, and designated pet relief stations in the Tower, Yacht Club and Cloister.

The resort and club provides a full dog park with designated pet relief stations, luxurious dog beds, and custom-made dog accessories for discerning pups. For canine guests with sea legs, Boca Beach Club offers paddleboards for dogs and their owners to enjoy together on the Atlantic coastline.
