Friday, August 3rd, 2012

Dog Bark Park Inn
2421 H 95
Idaho 83522

Definitely a unique traveling experience! The inn is built into the shape of a 30 foot tall Beagle and its 12 foot tall puppy . They offer a 2nd floor private deck with sleeping accommodations for four, a cozy reading nook in the dog’s nose, and an extended continental breakfast. The owners’ obvious love of dogs shows in the folk-art style wooden canine carvings (over 60 different breeds) that are offered in their gift store. Carvings from real or still life (like pictures), and tours of the studio where they are made are also available. They are open seasonally and at times close when business may take them away, so call ahead. Dogs of all sizes are welcome for an additional $10 per night per pet. Dogs may not be left alone in the room at any time, or on the beds, and they must be well behaved, leashed and cleaned up after.
