As America’s largest railway museum, there is plenty to see and do from restoration projects, to a comprehensive museum, educational opportunities, and more. Dogs are allowed throughout the grounds with exception being they are not allowed in the diner or on the trains; they are allowed in the barn buildings. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.

This award wining tourism attraction is one of the most unique and largest antique museums in America. Built by a couple with a love of country and its beginnings, this amazing collection of hundreds of items is open from March thru November. Dogs are welcome throughout the site; they are not allowed in buildings. Dogs must be leashed and under their owner’s control at all times.

Thought to be anywhere from 200 to 500 years old with evidence of occupation of more than a thousand years, this unique museum and art gallery of the past features over 1,600 ancient paintings, and can be viewed from a path below. Visitors should call ahead for an appointment to make sure that someone will be there. Dogs are allowed, but they must be hound, human, and farm animal friendly. There is a short drive either with the curator or to follow in your own vehicle. They ask that pets remain in the vehicle while registering for the tour and so other animals can be put inside if necessary. Dogs must be well mannered, kept short leashed, and under their owner’s control at all times.
