Los Angeles, the City of Angels, is also a city for dogs. This city is huge, with nearly 4 million residents spread over an area that stretches nearly 80 miles from end to end. Los Angeles is the center of the entertainment industry, with Hollywood and Beverly Hills a major tourist draw. There are many miles of beach, but not much of the beaches are dog-friendly. Los Angeles is built in a basin surrounded by mountains. While the close in mountains do not get winter snow, mountains further inland most certainly do. The Los Angeles hills serve to seperate areas of the city with natural boundries, also making it time consuming to drive between these areas. However, they come with benefits such as some excellent observation points overlooking the city, hiking trails and some off-leash dog areas.

On Throwback Thursday, what could be better than going back to the ’90s? You know, the land of fax machines, Beanie Babies, the Macarena and one of the biggest prime-time sitcom hits of the era: “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”
We’ll tell you what could be better: THE FRESH PUP OF BEL-AIR, a new “petody” (that’s pet parody) from The Pet Collective, the top pet-themed channel on YouTube, which even features a cameo by “Fresh Prince” star James Avery, who played Uncle Phil on the series.
Starring “Will Sniff” in the title role, The Pet Collective’s homage to “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” replicates the once-you’ve-heard-it-you-can’t-forget-it opening theme and title sequence – but with a twist. This Fresh Pup isn’t exiled to Bel-Air – he’s rescued from an animal shelter, only to discover he’s being adopted by none other than “Fresh Prince” star James Avery himself!
“Petodies based on current, modern songs have been hugely successful, so for Throwback Thursday we thought it would be fun to revisit one of our favorite sitcoms,” said Tom Maynard, channel head of The Pet Collective.
Since launching its “Petody” series last summer, its Corgi-themed rendition of “Call Me Maybe” has garnered nearly 4 million views, and a canine-inspired parody of One Direction’s “One Thing” has had nearly 2 million views. The Pet Collective, produced by FremantleMedia, can be found online at www.YouTube.com/ThePetCollective.
Fellow restaurant guests said that the intimate gathering was an impromptu get-together to celebrate the release of BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA 3, VIVA LA FIESTA! on DVD/Blu-ray.
