The Beneful Dream Dog Park Contest- time to vote for finalists!

Sunday, August 14th, 2011

The Beneful® Dream Dog Park Contest recently asked dog owners across the country – if you had $500,000 to create a dream dog park for you and your best buddy, what would you do? Hundreds of dog lovers across America submitted their dream ideas, and now 15 finalists have been chosen. Through September 8, 201, dog-loving communities are encouraged to log on to BenefulDreamDogPark.com to view the creative entries and vote for their favorite – public voting counts for 10% of the total judging score!

The lucky Grand Prize Winner’s ideas will help serve as inspiration for a $500,000 makeover of a dog park that the entire community can enjoy. He or she will also receive $10,000 cash and one year supply of Beneful® brand dog food. To get information about the contest and the finalists, visit here.

In June, design expert and television host Jason Cameron completed the renovation of the inaugural “Beneful WagWorld Dream Dog Park” in Georgia. The park design, which was inspired by a local dog owner and his Siberian Husky, contains larger-than-life elements such as a 3-D bone bridge with tunnels and two water splash pads. To see images and better understand the caliber of dog park a half million dollars can create, see here. The second Beneful Dream Dog Park will be unveiled in spring 2012 and will once again be managed by Cameron.
