This resort comes highly recommended from one of our readers. They said it was the most pet-friendly resort around and they can’t say enough good things about it. This former 1912 guest ranch, now a desert resort hideaway, is nestled in the foothills of Tucson’s picturesque Santa Catalina Mountains. It offers guests a Southwestern experience on 80 desert acres. They have walking trails at the resort, tennis, swimming pools and much more. Special room rates can be as low as $69 during certain times and seasons. There is a $75 one time additional pet fee.

This resort is specially designed to accommodate travelers with pets. The inn is rustic and elegant. Amenities include feather beds, wood burning fireplaces, antiques, sofas, televisions with VCRs and DVDs. The resort offers complimentary breakfast featuring a choice from organic selections of omelets, waffles, burritos, and more. A large pool, sauna and Jacuzzi are protected from the fog by a solarium. Massage in the Forest provides massage and body work and yoga. The Inn’s Catch A Canoe & Bicycles, too! offers kayaking and canoeing on Big River Estuary as well as mountain biking and. Special canoes are set-up to provide secure footing for your dog as well as a bowl of fresh water (Big River is tidal and for eight miles and therefore salty). The Ravens vegetarian/vegan restaurant serves organic cuisine. Well behaved pets may join you at breakfast or dinner in a dining area created especially for them. Feed and water dishes, covers to protect bedding and furniture, sleeping beds and treats are provided in the rooms.

This upscale resort on the shores of Lake Mead offers all the luxuries. All well-behaved dogs of any size are welcome. This upscale hotel resort offers their “Loews Loves Pets” program which includes special pet treats, local dog walking routes, and a list of nearby pet-friendly places to visit. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. There is a $25 one time additional pet fee per room. To get to the hotel take I-215 east until it ends into Lake Mead Blvd and proceed 7 miles on Lake Mead Blvd. The hotel will be on the left and you can follow the signs.
