Mystic Seaport – The Museum of America and the Sea
75 Greenmanville Ave
Mystic,
Connecticut 06355
860-572-0711

Referred to as the Museum of America and the Sea, it is considered to be one of the nation’s leading maritime museums, and there is plenty to see with an authentic 19th century village with about 40 buildings complete with storytellers, a waterfront of tall ships and other historic vessels, a preservation shipyard where visitors can watch restoration of antique vessels, several exhibits and galleries, and a lot more. Dogs are allowed throughout the port; they are not allowed in any of the buildings or on the ship. Dogs must be under their owner’s care, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
