This water adventure company offers two hour tours along Maine’s coastline where visitors can see plenty of marine and bird life and seafaring activity. Dogs are allowed on board for no additional fee. Dogs must be friendly, under their owner’s control at all times, and leashed. They also suggest visitors bring necessary refreshments for themselves and the pet.

This floodplain forest has one of the highest canopies in the world with massive hardwoods and soaring pines that are some of the tallest trees in America, and there is also an abundance of marine/bird/wildlife. Dogs are allowed to go on the canoe tours which are held every other Sunday (weather permitting) and reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Dogs must be well behaved, leashed, and under their owner’s control at all times.

The people here are very dog-friendly and welcome your pup on several of their boat tours. The narrated trips range in length from 45 to 90 minutes and can include a harbor, sea lion and Lido Island tour. The prices range from $6.00 to $9.00 and less for children. Prices are subject to change. Boat tours depart every half hour seven days a week. They do have a summer and winter schedule, so please call ahead for the hours. Whale watching tours are also available from January through March. (see Attractions). The Fun Zone Boat Co. is located at the end of Palm Street next to the Ferris Wheel.
