Doggy Halloween Parade

Comments:The Glastonbury Parks and Recreation Department and Glastonbury Dog Park Committee are having the 1st annual Doggy Halloween Parade to raise money for the Glastonbury Dog Park.
Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the parade will start at 10:30 a.m. Participants should come in costume with their dog and have a chance at winning special prizes! Lots of activities for the whole family including games, face painting, pumpkin decorating, cookie and biscuit decorating and more!
Admission is $10/dog. The event will be held rain or shine on the Riverfront Community Center lawn. The parade route will be from the Riverfront Community Center lawn along the river to the Riverfront Park and then down the Welles Street sidewalk and back to the Riverfront Community Center lawn.

Comments:Bring your costumed pet and join us for the 2nd Annual 'Howl & Prowl' Halloween Parade for Pets and People. This year's event will be held on Saturday, October 31, at 1:00 p.m. 'Howl & Prowl' is sponsored by the Pet Pantry Warehouse and Adopt-a-Dog, with all proceeds from the event will go to support Adopt-a-Dog. Pets and families will gather at the Island Beach Commuter parking lot, located at Steamboat Road and Arch Street. Costume parade will step off at 1:30 p.m., and participants will parade up the west side of Greenwich Ave. The parade will end at the Delamar Hotel on Steamboat Road, where a costume contest will be held (prizes awarded!) and refreshments will be served. Registration fee is $20 per entry. Hope to see you and your pets on Halloween!
