The Walk for the Greyhounds Barefoot on the Beach, is an annual fundraising event celebrating "life after racing". We will get together for an evening of fun and friendship and support of greyhounds. All well-behaved dogs of any breed are welcome to join us for this special night of fun and activities. All dogs must be current on all shots, and wearing a rabies tag on their collar. (We will accept Rabies Certificates). Dogs are required to be on a leash at all times. Please do not use Retractable Leads. We will have many Games and Contests, including: Best Greyhound Sit, Baldest Butt, Best Tricks, Musical Chairs, Owner-Pet Look-a-like. There will also be a Silent Auction with must have items, a Boutique featuring Greyhound items, especially our beautiful collars and coats which can be used on any breed of dog. There will also be complimentary Vegan Food, a Volunteer Award Ceremony, and a Blessing of the Dogs by the Franciscan Brothers. We have crafted amazing gifts to reward everyone for their fundraising efforts.There will also be some of the most unique items made by greyhound moms. ?Ask your friends, co-workers and relatives to make a contribution for the Greyhounds. Sign un today! The sign-up process is very easy. Create your own team and start collecting donations for the greyhounds. Remember 100% of the proceeds benefit the Greyhounds.
