Comments:This event is a family oriented day for all pets and their human companions of all ages to come out and enjoy. We will have food, music by Diverse Entertainment, the Blessing Ceremony with all pets in attendance receiving a Blessing Certificate, a special "IN LOVING MEMORY" Blessing for all those pets no linger with us with their owners receiving a special Blessing certificate. For the Kids, a face painter, pony rides and a petting zoo, and the Lake wood BlueClaws mascot "BUSTER" there for a meet and greet, a silent auction, pet adoption booth, animal demonstrations and a great craft fair with a wide variety of crafts for sale. The event is scheduled for the outdoors but if bad weather hampers the event we will be moving it indoors, so rain or shine we will hold the event!

On October 25th from 11 AM ? 2 PM, dogs and their owners will explore the scenic Pier Village and participate in numerous contests including Temptation Tower and Musical Sit. Also 70 yard dog dash for dogs that have previously run the 3 mile event but can no longer do so due to age or disability. Dash Limit 14. Dogs should be trained to run and be properly vaccinated. Unique categories and prizes. Male/female human categories: overall placement, small and large dog categories, first shelter/rescue dog and veteran dog (>=10). Course is run on heavily shaded park roads. See website for rules and more details.
