Comments:Dog friendly fundraiser that benefits the Susan G Komen Foundation and over 60 rescues in attendance. over 5000 humans and 2000 canines attend each year. Events include: dock diving, costume contest, hay maze race, dog racing, NJ state puppy limbo championship, life size dog o poly board, kids games, food, music and much more. Over 150 pet vendors, rescues, manufactures in attendance. The most fun a dog and it's owner can have in one day. Five dog swimming pools. First annual NJ State ski ball championship.

Comments:K9's for KIDS is a dog & human 5k walk hosted by the Foster & Adoptive Family Services Foundation. Teams and individuals can register to walk with their dog(s) in support of the children currently in NJ foster care. There will be dog and pet vendors on site as well as a best dressed dog contest and more! The first 100 dogs that register to walk will receive a free id tag and the team or individual who raises the most donations will win a prize!

Comments:Limited entry. This 3 mile event requires runners to have canine running partners. Each team receives a multi-colored t-shirt and matching dog bandanna. Awards to dogs in separate male and female runner categories for 1st shelter adoptees, veteran dogs (10 or over), large and small dog weight classes and top 10 places.2nd short event will be held for senior dogs. Dogs need to be trained to run and be properly vaccinated. In addition to the race, ?Paws from the Past Dash? (limit 14) is a run for dogs retired from running (both for dogs and their human partners)this event starts at 9:30 am on 10/5/13. Registration required.See web site for rules and more details.
