Canine Massage Certification Course

Comments:Join Dogtopia of McCall for their first ever charity dog wash June 27th 2015, from 10am - 3pm. All proceeds will be going to the Northwest Canadian Greyhound League. Suggested donations are $15 per dog wash or $5 for a nail trim from trained staff. There will be hot dogs, drinks and cake for the humans, as well as plenty of treats for the dogs! For children we will have face painting and adults there will be plenty of draws and great prizes to be won! Comments:In the Foundation session of this dynamic TTouch training and learning system, you will explore and acquire some of the TTouch techniques you can use to help dogs, cats and other animal companions overcome behavior issues and become more confident. Using these techniques will enable you to enhance your relationship with all animals. If you are interested in becoming a TTouch Practitioner, you can continue in the certification program that consists of six sessions, including the Foundation session, each lasting six days. Throughout the curriculum, you will be guided through the various exercises, experiences and techniques that will integrate the TTouch system and earn you the status of a certified TTouch Practitioner.

Alberta DockDogs Club Premier

Comments:The Alberta DockDogs Premier is a 4 day extravaganza of Dockdog diving action and fun with a portion of the profits going to support the Edmonton Humane society and its efforts in elevating peoples' beliefs, attitudes and behaviors to enhance the quality of life for companion animals. All are welcome to the event, any dog can jump, will yours Club members receive a $5.00 per wave discount when registered on site. There will be prizes and ribbons and awards and maybe even a contest or two. Donations towards the Edmonton Humane society will also be accepted on site. Apparently as a donation, they even accept Canadian Tire money, so now you can get rid of these 5 and 10 cent bills always in your junk drawers.Prizes will be awarded for to the top placing dogs in their divisions. We will have draws, silent auctions and other fun stuff too.It all starts Friday July 29 at 9 am and wraps up Monday August 1 after the competition finals. It will be held at the Edmonton Humane Societies, Chappelle Centre for Animal Care. We will be set up in Central Bark, the off leash park at the Humane Societies facility. It is located at 13620 - 163 Street in Edmonton, Alberta.
