Comments:Train your dog to be a super sleuth and solve a heinous crime with Beastie Darlings and Canine PhD for Atlanta¬?s first Canine Crime Scene Investigation Course!Participants work in small teams of handlers and dogs, attempting to solve a fun murder mystery. Your canine detective will acquire skills in retrieving, advanced control exercises, scent detection and tracking. They may be looking for explosives, lost articles, or other clues to help you solve the case.CCSI is NOT a boring lecture series. It is a hands on adventure with your dog. For three days, you will use your powers of observation and your problem solving skills to sniff out clues that will sort out this crime. Expect the unexpected! ...One of your team mates may accidently get padlocked to a chair...and only your dog will be able to find the key to set them free! Your dog may have to lead you blindfolded through a maze, to retrieve a clue from an area covered with food distractions. But beware, someone could be lurking in the shadows....Will you solve the crime, or be the next victim? This seminar is not intended for law enforcement officers and it will not take place at a real crime scene. Real weapons, accelerants, explosives and drugs are NOT used.*************************************************************************************¬? Denise Fenzi

May 10, 2014 - Building Drive and Motivation for All Sports

May 11, 2014 - Handler¬?s Choice for Obedience

At the Atlanta Obedience Club (pending board approval)

1193 D Beaver Ruin Road, Norcross

¬?A trainer with a solid understanding of their dog's drives and motivators has a significant advantage above other trainers. The best trainers approach performance training with two equally important goals; to develop the drives and motivators for their dog, and to teach skills specific to their sport. Performance dogs that have their basic drives developed to a high level are the most reliable and intense competitors."

- Denise Fenzi

Denise has been training and titling in schutzhund, obedience, tracking, agility, conformation and herding for over 25 years. She has had multiple HITs in both obedience and schutzhund. Denise finished her Belgian Tervuren Raika¬?s OTCH in 2011 and her Belgian Tervuren Cisu¬?s OTCH in 2012. Both dogs earned many HITs and HCs along the way.

Denise¬?s positive training methods are widely recognized for producing dogs with exceptional attention, accuracy and enthusiasm for their work. She uses her extensive knowledge of canine drives to motivate the dog and turn training into a positive experience for an enthusiastic and accurate performance. Rather than teaching you how to train specific exercises, Denise will teach you how to understand the work from your dog¬?s point of view so that you can become a problem solver for your dog!
