Comments:The 24th annual I-CAN RUN/WALK is slated for Tuesday morning, July 3, 2007 in Incline Village, Nev. The race starts and ends on the Sierra Nevada College campus. Cost for the race is $30 for adults ($35 for race-day registration) and $10 for participants through grade 12. Proceeds benefit local charities including Project MANA, The Boys & Girls Club, Tahoe Women's Services and the Children's Cabinet. Comments:The Breeder's Choice XTERRA K9 Challenge is a made-for-fun obstacle course time trial for dogs and their owners. Completing the challenge will take anywhere from 20 seconds to one minute, and it's not limited to highly trained or specialized dogs so all are welcome to participate. The event is part of the XTERRA Sports Festival weekend with kids races, trail runs, off-road triathlons, expo, music, food, and more. Comments:The 25th Annual I-CAN Run/Walk charity race is a fun community event which takes place in Incline Village, Nevada (North Lake Tahoe) on the morning of July 4th. If you've ever been to Lake Tahoe, you know it is VERY dog friendly and the I-CAN is no exception. Take your best friend along for a 5 or 10K walk or run along the forest trail and safe on-road lake view route. It starts at 8 a.m., so my 10 you can be off to the famous Incline Pancake Breakfast, spend the day on the water and enjoy the evening's fireworks. Microchips are the identification tag that won't fall off. We hope that you will take the time to get this life saving tool for your pet. PIMA Medical Institute will be providing the toenail clipping.
