Comments:Woofie?s Birthday Fun Walk 2009 We hope you will join us for our 2009 Woofie?s Birthday Fun Walk in order to raise $1000 to aid the RASCAL Unit. We started this fun event to elevate awareness to a serious pet problem, overpopulation. Now in its fourth year, we have opened the event to the public. The event focuses on the importance of spaying and neutering. As part of the activities vendor booths, birthday cake (for dogs and humans), games and a raffle occur throughout the day. Each walker receives a participation bag filled with dog-related materials and treats. In lieu of birthday gifts for Woofie, the Demo Dog, the staff at Acme Canine requests those attending to donate to the RASCAL Unit, a Columbus Ohio based non-profit animal welfare organization which provides low cost spay and neutering. This event has increased in popularity each year and has raised funds for PetPromise and other local spay/neuter non profit organizations. More detail about Woofie?s Birthday Fun Walk is available on our website, www.acmecanine.com. You can register for this event by contacting Acme Canine at 740.363.6889. We will send you a registration form to complete and return with a check for $10
