Companion Air: First Inagural Flight Pending. Currently
Offering Shuttle Service. First flights will include service along
the East Coast of the U.S. Future plans include nationwide
coverage, Canada, and Europe.
Nantucket Airlines:
Offering daily service between Hyannis, MA and Nantucket,
MA. Dogs under 35 pounds can be carried on your lap and no
kennel is required. For dogs over 35 pounds, there is a
"shelf" which is just a few inches off the floor,
in the back of the plane where your dog can sit or lay.
While you cannot sit next to your dog, you can try to get
the seat directly in front of him or her. There is no
reserved seating, so you'll need to arrive early to try and
make special arrangements to sit in front of your pooch.
Large dogs must be properly restrained with a leash, harness
or similar device. No kennel is required. You will need to
reserve a space for your pet in advance as the airline
usually only allows one dog per flight.
