A scenically rich hike to the highest point on the Chilkat Peninsula, this moderate trail has an elevation gain of 1300 to 1760 feet to the top of its rock outcrop peak overlooking maritime forest, views of the ocean inlets, and of the glaciated mountains. There are 3 trailheads to access the trail; they are from Mud Bay, Lily Lake, and Portage Cove. Dogs are allowed on the trails; they must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times.
