Whittier Town Center

Whittier Town Center Downtown Whittier, Alaska
Map
You never know what you and your dog will see roaming in Alaska. This raindeer, not to be confused with a large dog with antlers, is one of the many attractions in the town of Whittier. The first attraction of Whittier is driving to it as you need to go through a 3 mile one lane tunnel through the Glacier. The tunnel is shared between traffic in the two directions and the Alaska Railroad by allocating scheduled time slots for each use. Once in Whittier, there are a number of patio restaurants, shops and other things to do, in addition to boat tours and fishing.
