Starting from the parking lot of the Lake Chinnabee National Forest Recreation Area (3 miles from the entrance of the Cheaha State Park), this trail's special attractions are the beautiful woodlands and waterfalls. It was built by Boy Scout Troop 29 from the states Institute for the Deaf and Blind-from which it got its name, and has been given a "difficult" rating due to the varied terrain and elevation gain. Dogs are allowed; they must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
