There are almost 600 land acres and a 22 acre spring-fed lake at this recreational destination. The park also offers handicapped hunting facilities. Dogs are allowed in the park and campground for no additional fee. They must be quiet, well behaved, crated or on no more than a 6 foot leash, and picked up after at all times. Dogs are not allowed in any park buildings or swim areas. They are allowed water access, but they must be kept leashed and close to their human companions (alligators occasionally enter).
