This annual event, sponsored by the Arizona Animal Welfare League, is usually held in October at Tempe Town Lake. Hundreds of pooches and their owners gather for this benefit walk that raises tens of thousands of dollars every year for Arizona's oldest and largest "No Kill? shelter. There will also be raffles, and a variety of vendors for pet related merchandise, services, and care. Dogs must be well behaved, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
