Once the largest mining town in the world, there are plenty of stories of gain and loss and mystery to share with visitors about this 125 year old western town; tours last about 1½ hours. So, along with a 'spirit' for adventure, bring some good walking shoes, water, and maybe a camera. Regular tours start at 7 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights - special private tours are also available. Quiet, well mannered dogs are allowed to come along as well; they must be leashed and kept under their owner's control.
