This historic Park was a primary army base, and is the best preserved example of an Indian Wars era fort in Arizona. Rich in cultural and American history, they offer living history presentations, special craft and building projects, historic house museums furnished in 1880s period, picnic tables, restrooms, and RV parking. They are ADA accessible, and open 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. every day. The park is closed on Christmas Day. Dogs of all sizes are allowed. Dogs may not be left unattended anywhere in the park or in automobiles. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after. They are allowed throughout the park except in buildings.
