Two restaurants, a day spa, an outdoor heated pool and seven hot tubs, with a ski-in, ski-out location, make the non-smoking Sheraton Steamboat Resort a favorite in the area among our guests. The eight-floor hotel's 209 rooms offer private balconies with ski village or valley views and Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bedding. Pets have their own Sheraton Sweet Sleeper dog beds. Each room has an in-room safe, a refrigerator, a coffeemaker, a flat-panel TV and Wi-Fi (for an additional fee). Dining options include a bar and grill, a restaurant and a coffee shop. In addition to winter skiing and summer golfing, recreation choices include a fitness center, a steam room, a game room and shopping at on-site boutiques. To relax after all that exertion, ease into the hotel's heated outdoor pool or one of the seven rooftop hot tubs. The hotel also has a day spa, a desk, a guest laundromat and valet parking (for a fee). Located on the base of Mt. Werner, the hotel is about three miles from downtown Steamboat Springs and two miles from Yampa River Botanic Park. The Rodeo Grounds and Ice Rink are three miles away. Strawberry Park Hot Springs is a 30-minute drive. It's 27 miles to Yampa Valley Regional Airport. The popular Sheraton, with its "awesome location right on the ski hill," "large, quiet rooms with beds like clouds" and "hot tubs in a beautiful setting under the stars," draws raves from our guests, who say it's an "excellent hotel with a perfect ski-out, ski-in" location.
