This 10,000 acre refuge has quite a diverse ecology with one of the largest freshwater impoundments on the East Coast, and offers a home or a migration area for a wide variety of bird and wildlife. Dogs are allowed throughout the park on the trails. Dogs must be under their owner's control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
