Cottages at Turtle Beach Resort
|
| Turtle Beach Resort was one of the first accommodations to welcome pets, for 17 years now! Our pet-friendly resort features bay side cottages that accommodates pets of all sizes. We have a two dog maximum per unit usually and a pet fee. Our only dog rule is barking so other guests are not disturbed. The complimentary kayaks and canoes are fun for doggie guests, some owners bring doggie life vests for their pets. You can explore the sandbars in the salt water bay or the many islands nearby. There are several area restaurants where pets are welcome including one you can walk to. The public dog beach is located 20 minutes south of us in Venice called Casperson Beach. We also have a dog park in Sarasota about 15-20 minutes away for your dog to run or play with others. Sarasota even has their own "doggie" bakery and doggie day spa! Our guests like just hanging out in the hammocks or lounge chairs near the pool with their best friends. Your pet will enjoy the cool tile floors in our cottages, the 3 miles of nearby sidewalks to explore with you and the wildlife from lizards to sea birds to peak their interest while lazing the day outside on their private patios. Our amenities include your own private hot tub on private enclosed patio, robes, sherry wine, complimentary use of kayaks, canoes, fishing gear, bicycles, beach chairs, discount dinner package at Ophelia's on the Bay, and a whole lot more! We have had many wonderful doggie guests over the years and hope to have you visit with your furry "kids" too! |
