Enjoy a 4 1/2 mile nature and wildlife scenic tour by car, as well as the other recreational activities offered here. This park is known for it's migratory bird population. If you stop to look or take pictures, park on the right and stay on the pavement. The refuge is closed Friday, and open Saturday through Thursday from 7:30 am to sunset. Dogs are allowed at no additional fee, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after.
