A place of exceptional natural beauty, this park is especially cherished by nature lovers and photographers. You can hike or bicycle along nine miles of trails or enjoy the two-and-a-half mile interpretive trail. They have very active interpretive/education programs, and they will continue to expand this in addition to adding new exhibits to the visitors' center. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs must be on no more than a 6 foot leash at all times, and cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed on the trails, but they are not allowed anywhere by the water due to alligators.
