Given the spacious suites with in-room kitchens, free breakfast and convenience of pet acceptance, it's hard to imagine squeezing in more for less, say our guests at Travel Suites Okeechobee. This two-floor, non-smoking hotel is home to 39 suites, dressed in a light, pastel palette so reminiscent of South Florida. Guests can count on key ingredients for a value-packed stay, including in-room kitchens with full-size refrigerators, microwaves, sinks and two-burner stovetops. Don't worry about making breakfast, though. Guests are covered with a freebie buffet of hot and cold cereals, bagels, pastries, fresh fruit and more. Flat-panel cable TVs and in-room Wi-Fi keep guests connected. Pets are welcome for an additional fee, and parking is free. On the southern end of Highway 441, the hotel sits across the street from Lake Okeechobee's north side, one mile from the public boat ramp. Nearby fun distractions include a popular bowling alley within one block and a golf course at KOA Okeechobee within two miles. Guests drawn to historic Main Street districts are within a four-mile ride to quaint downtown Okeechobee. Saint Lucie County International Airport is 33 miles. Appreciating the "nice, large rooms" with kitchenettes and "very quiet" atmosphere, our guests say "for the price, you can't beat" Travel Suites Okeechobee.
Dogs of all sizes are allowed. There is a $25 one time pet fee.
