The 11-floor Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center's 372 rooms are non-smoking and offer luxury bedding, work desks, coffeemakers and comfortable chairs with ottomans. Cable TVs with premium channels and pay movies, AM/FM clock radios with iPod docking stations and free Wi-Fi are also included. There's an updated fitness center, indoor/outdoor pools, a full-service business center, a sandwich shop, a shop and a guest laundry. The hotel's restaurant serves all meals, and room service is available for further convenience. Both valet and self-parking are provided for an additional fee, and pets are welcome, also for an additional fee. The hotel is a three-minute stroll from Augusta Riverwalk and within one mile of James Brown Arena, Augusta Museum of History, Augusta Canal Interpretive Center and National Science Center's Fort Discovery. Georgia Health Sciences University, Lucy Craft Laney Museum and 1797 Ezekiel Harris Historic House are two miles away. The hotel is 10 miles from Augusta Regional Airport. With its great "downtown" location and "very friendly staff," the "beautiful" Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center is one of our guests' favorite area hotels.
