Located in the 2,774 acre Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge, this 2.2 mile (one way) maintained trail offers a fairly flat surface atop the Deep Creek Dike and is mostly forested with cottonwoods and broad leaf trees. Dogs are allowed on the trail; they must be kept leashed at all times. There is an exception for retrieving dogs.
