This self-taught sculptor from Hungary was so taken by the native cultures when he migrated to America that he began a tribute to them through his amazing, towering Native American wooden or stone sculptures. There are 58 statues, each giving a depiction of what he saw in the local natives, for each state and a few in Canada. The Whispering Giant by Peter Toth is located in North Tourist Park. After taking the exit, go right (east) on Broadway about 4 blocks past the river to Yellowstone Avenue and go left. Leashed, well mannered dog are allowed at the park.
