This beautiful, natural river's edge park was a gift to the Forest Preserve District with only one condition-that no structures would ever be built on the property. Dogs are welcome throughout the park, and there is a 50 acre section where dogs under good voice control may be off lead. They must be leashed when in other parts of the park and cleaned up after at all times.
