The Sunday Mercury Canine Cruise is a cruise specifically for dogs in Chicago and one of the most popular activities in Chicago for dogs to do with their owners. All well-behaved and leashed canines are welcome aboard for the 90-minute lake and river tour with lively commentary about dog-friendly Chicago. On-board amenities include large bowls of fresh water, and a newspaper-lined restroom. Canine cruisers are cordially invited for a post-cruise visit to the canine-friendly Shops at North Bridge, just two blocks north at 500 N. Michigan Avenue and enjoy fresh water and savory treats at Pet Stations throughout the center. The 2013 Season will kick-off with the annual Mercury Canine Cruise benefit for The Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago, Thursday, June 27 at 7 pm. Tickets are $35/humans; dogs are free! The 2013 cruise schedule is: Sundays at 10:00 am, July 7 through September 29. Tickets are $7.34 (plus city tax) /dog, $26.61 (plus city tax) /adults, $10.09(plus city tax) /children under 12.
