Home to one of the states largest significant natural areas, this almost 2,000 acre park has a 710 acre restricted section dedicated to its study, preservation, and interpretation. There are also some wonderful trails and boardwalks through this park; primitive camping is allowed and accessible only by canoe. Dogs are allowed throughout the park; they must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
