Dedicated to the preservation, collection, exhibition, and interpretation of railroading, especially regarding Central Illinois, this train museum also offers train rides on weekends and holidays from May through October-regardless of weather conditions. Dogs are allowed throughout the common grounds and on the train rides; they are not allowed in buildings. Dogs must be under their owner's control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
