This 1,023-acre park is home to a variety of flora and is rich in wildlife. There are many scenic and historic sites, and activities year round. Dogs of all sizes are allowed. There are no additional pet fees. Dogs may not be left unattended except for very short periods, and may only be left in unit if it poses no danger to the animal. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed on the trails. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no water hookups at the campground.
