The primary goals of this site are to preserve and reestablish the local flora and fauna and to provide educational opportunities. There are 300 acres, 8 ponds, a small lake for fishing, a bedrock creek, riparian woodlands, native grasses towering over 8 feet and trails to explore. Dogs are allowed on the site; they must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times. They may be off lead only under strong voice control to go in the water if the leash is not long enough and then immediately re-leashed. Dogs are not allowed in the buildings.
