Camps consist of a 4-day weekend retreat and are offered in Massachusetts and N Carolina. Although ment to be fun and relaxing there are many organized play, educational activities and workshops for bonding/learning with your canine companions. Some of the activities at this camp include canoeing, an agility course, dog-related craft projects, campfire times, Frisbee fun, dock diving and swimming, a 'Dog Idol' show, doggy film festivals, flyball, nature hikes, and a variety of games. Workshops include training techniques, canine massage, canine aromatherapy, grooming, dog-human relationships, Yoga, healing animals with Reiki, canine leaning and personality tips, creating dog-friendly homes, natural nutrition, off-leash skills, teaching your "old/new dog new tricks", and much more. You and your pet may choose single-occupancy, double-occupancy or shared cabin (same sex) accommodations. Meals, lodging and programs are included in the camping fee. Dogs must be healthy with a signed Health Certificate by a veterinarian within 30 days of attending the camp, have proof of current rabies vaccination, be well-socialized, and be neutered or spayed. Dogs must be under owner's control/care and be cleaned up after promptly at all times.
