Known as the "waterman's country", this western shore byway is a wonderful display of the historic maritime villages of yesteryear. Beginning in the state capital of Annapolis, this picturesque drive also takes in the historic Four Rivers Heritage Area. The byway is 47 miles long from Annapolis to Plum Point and takes about an hour to drive. Brochures and/or maps are available on-line highlighting points of interest along the way.
