Nature enthusiasts, wildlife viewers, and bird watchers will enjoy the 5½ mile trip through thick forest on an a genuine narrow gauge railroad to the Tahquamenon River where a riverboat will take guests 21 miles downriver to the rapids below the falls. This is a narrated cruise. Dogs are allowed on the train and on the boat. Dogs are not allowed in any food service areas; they must remain on the outer or upper decks, and they are not allowed on seats. Owners need to bring the dog's water bowl. Dogs must be under their owner's control and leashed at all times.
