The hotel has 733 upscale rooms in a 40-story high-rise building with a soaring atrium. Rooms have stellar views of the surrounding fountains, Crown Center Plaza and the city. Sleep tight on the comfy Sweet Sleeper beds with pillow top mattresses and ultra-soft linens. Amenities include premium cable TV, mini-fridges, Wi-Fi (surcharge) and stereos with iPod docking stations. A refreshing swim in the year-round heated outdoor pool is accompanied by sunset views of the Kansas City skyline. The view gets even better from the rooftop club lounge. The hotel also has several restaurants and bars, including an Italian eatery, a kids' cafe, a gastro pub and coffee shop. Also on-site are a hot tub, a fitness center and a sauna. Parking is available for an extra charge. The Sheraton is connected by a glass-enclosed walkway to Crown Center and its multitude of shops and restaurants. Union Station is two blocks west of the hotel. The Power and Light District is one mile north. I-35, I-670 and Highway 71 are all within a mile's drive. Kansas City International Airport is 20 miles from the hotel. Replete with plush beds, a "really cool" rooftop pool, a "friendly staff" and a prime location connected to Crown Center, this Sheraton has a lot going for it, say our guests.
