Rosebud Battlefield State Park
Rosebud Battlefield State Park 3 miles W on County Road from H 314 Decker, Montana
59025 406-234-0900 Map
In addition to prehistoric sites and a homestead ranch, this 3,000 acre prairie park also offers the history of the significant battle waged between General Crook (supported by Crow and Shoshone) and the Sioux and Cheyenne. It set the stage for the victory against Lt. Col. Custer 8 days later. Dogs are allowed throughout the park; they must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times.
