Get a suite with a full kitchen and free Wi-Fi access at the non-smoking Residence Inn Rocky Mount, which is one of the most popular hotels among our guests staying in the area. The three-story Residence Inn piles on the amenities in the 78 suites. There are separate sleeping and living areas, where you'll find sofa beds and flat-panel TVs and DVD players. Wi-Fi is available throughout the suites, and kitchens with full-sized refrigerators, as well as microwaves, stoves and dishwashers, are equipped with everything you need for preparing a meal for the family. (Get the essentials at the downstairs convenience store.) There's even a table that can accommodate dinners for two. The hotel is perfect if you like to stay active, as there's a fitness room with free weights and cardio equipment. Outside you'll find a heated swimming pool and hot tub, a tennis and basketball court and a lovely stone terrace with a fire pit. This lodging welcomes pets with a nightly fee. Parking is free. Off I-95, the Residence Inn has easy access to downtown and the rest of the area. Golden East Crossing, one of the region's most popular shopping centers, is four miles east. When graduation time rolls around, North Carolina Wesleyan College is seven miles northeast. Pitt-Greenville Airport is 46 miles southeast, and Raleigh-Durham International Airport is 67 miles west. "The layout of the rooms is terrific" at the Residence Inn, say our guests, who also like the "giant" flat-panel TVs, the "nice" pool area and the breakfast that "smells amazing."
Dogs of all sizes are allowed. There is a $40 one time additional pet fee.
