A 3 day annual event around the beginning of July, this event is to celebrate and learn about the wild Colonial Spanish Mustangs that have been surviving here for 100s of years. There are numerous activities for all ages, live entertainment, contests, and horse demonstrations for athleticism, versatility, and intelligence of the Mustangs and other breeds. There is also a silent auction, and lots of food. The event is located just past the lighthouse close to the end of Highway 12. Leashed dogs are welcome to the event; they must be under their owner's immediate control at all times. Dogs are not allowed near the horses; just look for signs.
