Free hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi and a welcome for Fido make our guests feel very much at home at the all-suite Residence Inn by Marriott Southern Pines. The Residence Inn has 80 non-smoking suites occupying three floors, all with fully equipped kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas. Furnishings include sofa beds, desks with ergonomic chairs, armchairs with ottomans, 37-inch flat-panel TVs with premium cable and free Wi-Fi. Guests are treated to a daily free buffet breakfast and invited to socialize at the manager's reception on select evenings. A fitness room, seasonal outdoor pool, hot tub and sports court keep them busy. The barbecue/covered patio area offers options for down-time, or guests may choose to relax in the lobby with a free newspaper and cup of coffee. Amenities include a business center, an ATM, a guest laundromat, free parking and both grocery shopping and valet dry-cleaning services. Dogs are welcome for an extra fee. Two miles from downtown Southern Pines, the hotel is situated among dozens of golf courses, including Pinehurst Resort, and beautiful countryside, such as the Weymouth Woods and Nature Preserve — both five miles away. Fort Bragg, Pope Air Force Base and the Airborne and Special Operations Museum are within a 50-minute drive. Raleigh-Durham International Airport is 73 miles away and Fayetteville Regional Airport is 43 miles from the hotel. "Very reasonably priced for everything you get," say our guests in describing the Residence Inn, where they praise the spacious rooms and the "full-service hot breakfast" that rotates food selection so that every morning offers "something new."
Dogs of all sizes are allowed. There is a $125 one time additional pet fee.
